Who is the Haneef

The haneef is the one who turns away from Shirk. The Muwahhid Haneef, is he who goes to the worship of Allah and avoids polytheism in all his different, types, forms and colours.

He avoids the shirk of the past and the shirk of the present, [from it] the worshipping of Hawaa [desires], the statues, the idols, asking [making supplication] to other than Allah.

He also has to avoid implementing [the rules] of taghut, and seeking judgement from it, or joining the disbelieving organizations and similar to that.
